2023 Valpolicella Classico Superiore
An expression of its soil and vintage, Tirele is a straightforward and lively wine, where spices find their right balance with red fruits, leaving room for floral and balsamic hints. Production focuses on exalting the tannic texture and making the aromatic elements more sophisticated to achieve a wide and intriguing bouquet. This is a traditional style of Superiore with moderate alcohol and only stainless steel used as its ageing vessel.
The vineyards of Tenuta Villa Bellini cover four hectares of land, all surrounded by walls: a treasure trove, an extraordinary combination of soils and different growing methods. We have always grown our wines organically and made them exclusively with our own grapes, for a wine with a typical character. The bio-diverse vineyards are about 150 meters above sea level, with eastern and south-eastern exposure on hilly slopes.

Vinification:
Grapes are softly pressed. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by a second refermentation in the bottle that lasts for at least 36 months. After the disgorgement, the wine rests in the bottle for other 4-5 months.
Tasting:
A truly pure expression of Valpolicella, with aromas of cranberry, red cherry and red plum. The palate opens up with a burst of juicy, crunchy fruit, lined by a detailed tannic structure and fine acid line. Good length and lingering notes of dried Mediterranean herbs and sour cherry.
Try with:
High-fat or medium-fat aged or medium aged cheeses; cold cuts including spicy
ones; risottos, especially with mushrooms or truffles; pork and poultry; savory or
sophisticated fish dishes, such as fried fish or salt cod “a la Vicentina”.
