2023 Langhe Nebbiolo
2023 Langhe Nebbiolo
2023 Langhe Nebbiolo
Poderi Fogliati Langhe Nebbiolo originates from a single vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, in the esteemed Pugnane area, a small cru renowned for the elegance and finesse of its wines.
The grapes are hand-harvested into small boxes to preserve their integrity. Vinification is guided by the unique character of each vintage, using the traditional submerged cap (cappello sommerso) method. Aging takes place in large oak casks, where the wine rests for approximately nine months under attentive care, before being bottled in the summer following the harvest.
The sandy marl soils of the Langhe, rich in limestone, give the Nebbiolo its aromatic complexity and structure, while maintaining a graceful delicacy. Delicate notes of violet and spice unfold alongside bright red fruit; an authentic and refined expression of its terroir.
